Booking Fees & Charges

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure the desired booking, which is a refundable booking fee. 
  • This deposit will be returned (by the same payment method) within 48 hours once the hire is over and the equipment has been collected and checked as undamaged and clean.
  • Booking fees are to be paid immediately, when equipment and dates have been reserved. Festa Festa will not hold any dates for equipment without a booking fee paid.
  • Final balances are due 7 days prior to set up of any equipment unless otherwise agreed.
  • Unless otherwise stated, all promotion/discount codes are applicable to the hire price of the products only; any delivery, setup, collection and other charges are not included.
  • In the event of any damaged or soiled equipment, the repair or cleaning charges will be deducted from the deposit paid. Any repair or cleaning cost exceeding the deposit amount paid will also be payable and invoiced separately. Any loss or replacement costs will be additionally charged to the hirer. The hirer will be required to pay the amount in full within 7 days.  
  • Please notify Festa Festa immediately if any issues occur during the hire. Festa Festa will assess the issue and agree on appropriate action with the hirer.
  • Festa Festa hire package prices include equipment hire for up to three hours, (not including setup and takedown times) between the hours of 9am - 6pm, unless otherwise specified or agreed by Festa Festa. Any additional time required will be charged at £25.00 per hour.

  •  All cancellations must be communicated via email by contacting hello@festafesta.co.uk
  • In the event of any cancellation 7 days or less before the hire date the deposit is forfeited. 
  • If 14 days or more cancellation notice is given, the deposit can either be transferred for re-booking on another day (subject to availability) or refunded in full. 
  • Cancellations for adverse weather situations will not be refunded. 
  • Unless agreed all bookings are indoors. 
  • An outdoor booking must be confirmed in advance with Festa Festa as the hirer will be required to provide suitable cover i.e. a marquee or an indoor alternative space, if the weather is not suitable.
  • The soft play equipment can only be hired on grassed areas. Any bookings that are not indoors on arrival and with no suitable cover,  Festa Festa reserve the right to cancel with the hirer liable for all costs,.
  • Refunds will be paid back to the account/payment method the hirer provided when booking.
  • Festa Festa reserve the right to cancel any booking, where there is a potential health and safety risk to the hirer, the guests or the public. 

 


Delivery

  • The hirer will be informed if any additional charges are applicable during the booking stage.
  • If Festa Festa is unable to deliver due to adverse weather, vehicle failure, illness or any other factor, the hirer will be informed at the earliest possible opportunity and a full refund will be issued or the hirer can transfer the booking to another date.
  • Upon delivery the hirer agrees to the terms and conditions of hire and must pay any remaining balance 7 days prior to the event. Festa Festa will not deliver any equipment without the final balance paid either on delivery or prior to event date as in accordance with the booking fees and charges.
  • It is the hirers responsibility to check all required dimensions for space needed for the equipment. The area required is 450cm x 300cm. All doors and paths must be at least 90cm wide and at least 200cm high. 
  • It is the hirers responsibility  to ensure easy access to the venue for unloading and loading of equipment. Any restrictions must be reported to Festa Festa prior to the event such as but not limited to, lack of parking, height restriction barriers, stairs, narrow doorways etc. Failure to do so may result in Festa Festa not being able to deliver. 
  • Festa Festa only delivers to ground floor venues. The hirer will be liable for the whole hire costs if Festa Festa cannot deliver the equipment due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location.
  • Please allow up to 60 minutes before the event for Festa Festa to deliver and set up the equipment, and also up to 30 minutes after the event to pack up, check and remove the equipment. 
  • The packages include free delivery to venues within 8 miles of Bicester OX26. Venues beyond 8 miles will incur a delivery fee. Please contact Festa Festa for details.
  • Festa Festa will endeavour to deliver on time, but will not be held responsible for delay incurred due to circumstances beyond control (e.g. traffic problems, bad weather).

Soft Play Terms of Use

  •  All soft play equipment is suitable for use by children under 5 years. Festa Festa strictly prohibits the use of soft play equipment for anyone over the age of 5 years.
  • The hirer will be deemed to have inspected the equipment  and will have agreed that it is supplied in good condition unless brought to the attention of Festa Festa when setting up the equipment. 
  • A responsible adult over the age of 18 years must supervise the equipment and children at all times.
  • No smoking on or within close vicinity of the soft play equipment.
  • Strictly no shoes sharp objects, food, beverages allowed on soft play mats, ball pit or equipment. Socks must be kept on at all times for hygiene reasons.
  • The hirer prior to collection of the equipment must collect ball pit balls back into the ball pit. Failure of this requirement or any missing balls will result in a £25 charge.
  • Soft play pieces must be placed back in the original set up location ready for collection, including all balls in the ball pit.
  • The hirer is responsible for the care and security of all soft play equipment, whilst in the hirers possession. Damage to any equipment whilst in the hirers possession will be charged accordingly.
  • Soft play equipment is sanitised between every hire with Milton antibacterial spray, however please try to keep the soft play equipment in as clean state as possible, this helps to protect the longevity of the equipment. Please treat the equipment with respect, mistreated; overly dirty equipment, when being collected will incur a £25 cleaning charge.
  • Face paint, glitter tattoos, party poppers, confetti, streamers or silly string is strictly forbidden on the soft play. The dye from these objects can stain the equipment. The hirer will be responsible for any damage caused and be liable for any cleaning charges if these objects are used on the soft play.
  • The hire period will have been agreed within email prior to delivery of the soft play equipment. Any obstruction by the hirer or the guests will be charged at £25 per hour or part of.
  • Accidents must be reported to the person in charge, including dates and accounts of what occurred and signed by the injured third party representative.
  • Public liability insurance is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee. Whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol.
  • Festa Festa excludes any liability for injury, loss or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to these terms and conditions.
  • The hirer is responsible for the care and supervision of all users of the equipment. 
  • Liability for injuries or other losses caused rests solely with the hirer. It is strongly recommended that the hirer have appropriate public liability insurance, covering the hirers liability arising from the use of the equipment.

Disclaimer

Please note that ALL persons using the equipment do so AT THEIR OWN RISK. The person/s or organisation hiring such equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse, neglect or reckless use of such equipment hired. The guidelines above are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times.

Declaration

I have read, understood, and agree to abide by these conditions of hire and accept these T&C’s by signing this document. I am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the equipment and will pay for any loss or damages that may occur.


A copy of the terms and conditions will be sent to the hirer to review and a signed copy will need to be returned before the hire date.
